Few meals impress guests as much as lasagna does, so it’s a great go-to recipe whenever you have a get-together. Only problem? It’s everybody’s go-to, and the more you have something, the less special it becomes. Want to shake it up a little and blow your guests’ minds? Shrink that lasagna down! These petite lasagnas are perfectly portioned for each individual guest, and they use wonton wrappers instead of noodles for a tasty twist. Plus, they’re pretty easy to put together! Check it out!


You’ll Need
–1 teaspoon olive oil
–16-ounces ground Italian sausage
–½ teaspoon kosher salt
–½ teaspoon ground black pepper
–1 cup onion, diced
–¾ cup mushrooms, sliced
–2 – 15-ounce cans crushed tomatoes, or tomato sauce
–3 cloves garlic, minced
–3 teaspoons dried oregano, divided
–½ teaspoon dried basil
–1-½ cups ricotta cheese
–24 small square wonton wrappers
–1-½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

How To

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausage, breaking it up into small pieces. Add the onions, mushrooms, salt, and pepper, and cook until the sausage has browned.
  3. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
