I love sharing simple and easy  cake recipes with you all. This recipe of Cranberry Banana Bread is one of my morning bakes and one of the easiest recipe to make. And believe me morning baking is so good. When the entire house is filled with delicious aroma. And gives the vibes of a pleasant day ahead.

This delicious Cranberry Banana Bread is perfect for tea times and great for taking on picnics.  For this recipe I have used jaggery ( you can get in indian store) instead of sugar.  But sugar can be substituted with the same quantity.  Hubby is loving the taste of jaggery in sweets. So I am substituting it in most of my bakes . It not only gives a subtle brown color but delicate taste to the cake.


Ingredients

  • I : Wet ingredients
  • 2 Ripe banana mashed
  • 3/4 cup finely grated jaggery or powder
  • 1/3cup oil unflavored
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • II: Dry ingredients
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 Tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Additional Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup cranberry dry
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix together all the wet ingredients
  2. In another bowl mix together wet ingredients
  3. Now combine together wet mix with dry mix
